Power comes from either a 357cc four-stroke engine or a super
powerful 48-volt electric system with
8 6-volt batteries and a large 400-amp controller.
Both are capable of carrying up to 800 pounds in the roto molded
cargo box and 4 people. In addition, the new MD-4 comes standard
with a host of features including four-wheel brakes, streamline
headlights and a 12-volt DC accessory outlet.
